Annual Book Fair at the Leo Bradley Library
The Leo Bradley Library in Belize City recently hosted its annual Book Fair, drawing a lively crowd of students from schools across the city. The event celebrated the joy of reading with a full day of literary activities and creative expression.
Cubola Productions was proud to participate, showcasing our wide range of publications, including our latest textbooks and children’s books. Visitors had the opportunity to browse our titles, discover new favourites, and learn more about our ongoing work to promote reading in Belize.
One of the activities in the fair was a reading contest, where students from primary and secondary schools read a chapter from The Land of the Night Sun, a novel by Belizean author Ian Gibson that was published earlier in the year. Several students also displayed their artistic talents in a mural art competition. This year’s theme, “Diving into a Sea of Books,” inspired colourful, imaginative creations that celebrated the power of literature to transport readers into new worlds.
Cubola Productions would like to extend our congratulations to all the students, teachers, and organisers who made this year’s Book Fair a wonderful celebration of books and creativity!
