Since 1973, Cubola Productions has been a publisher of fiction and nonfiction books, textbooks and workbooks, educational tools, specialty books, and postcards about Belize.
Cubola has promoted the work of Belizean writers at home and internationally. Our quality designed and expertly researched texts in the areas of sociology, anthropology and education have become valuable resources for those studying the Caribbean and Central America.
Cubola Productions’ books cover the length and breadth of Belize—its people, history, environment, stories, and treasures. Cubola’s main focus is on books and educational tools for adults and youth of all ages who have an interest in Belize and want to learn more about this small English-speaking country that is nestled in Spanish-speaking Central America and faces the Caribbean Sea and the West Indies.
Cubola has published several literary anthologies as part of the Belizean Writers Series, the Explorer Series of texts are often used in schools and an academic series of essays called The Belize Collection. In addition there are several other books of literature, one in Spanish, a cookbook and a collection of social commentary.
